Yeah, the IFP is a superb idea that is all about enhancing the long-term strength of the network. What’s so brilliant about it is that the three incentives – of miners, developers and stakers – aren’t in conflict; they’re mutualistic, i.e. each benefits and is, in turn, benefited by the others.
And the capital that is created via the IFP block reward distribution is what enables the eCash ecosystem to be so cohesive; case in point: just look at the three tabs in Cashtab wallet – where one has three options: 1. Keep capital as finite supply XEC; 2. Stake via XECX (thus, earning yield by participating in network security); 3. Convert XEC to Firma (yield-bearing USD stablecoin).
And the agility one has; the mobility between those options – being able to interchange at one’s own discretion within seconds, not minutes – in conjunction with the QR code generator for transactions, is the perfect use-case for Cashtab wallet and eCash in everyday small business settings. E.g. in cafes, online merchants, electricians and plumbers, etc.
The infrastructure of the eCash system is so practical and forward-thinking. And that’s just from an eCash user experience. I can only imagine what the Bitcoin ABC crew have enabled for those who are in tech development – to build, on eCash. Put simply – it’s the best!
Oh – and I forgot to mention: if the merchant, plumber, etc. wanted to put their eCash into a cold wallet – with a little experience, from the Home screen of Cashtab wallet, that takes about 10 seconds. (And that’s the complete process, i.e IN the hardware wallet; not just “on its way.” I still marvel at that!)
Right now Cashtab can’t connect to a hardware wallet but Joey mentioned in my last Humans of eCash space that he has plans for that in the future.

America keeps racking in trillions of dollars in debt, and the nation doesn’t consider it important to deescalate the rate at which it’s racking it in… In that case, we know how the feds gonna pay it off, by letting the printer roll.
The world has always considered the dollars a safe haven against inflation but that might change _ infact it has already began to ( the dollar now dips during periods of uncertainty, this wasn’t the case in time past).
I’ll love to hear your opinions on the below:
Do you think the debt crisis is really that alarming or we’re just over reacting?
How bad has the Dollar devalued? How much have you experienced? if you’ll be kind can you compare purchasing power of when you were younger and now.
What role do you think crypto has to play in this?
To spice it up, what’s Your opinion on trump and musk saga… I’ll had asked who you think is right but The world isn’t black and white.
