Not gonna lie, the last few weeks have been a tad challenging. Work has been more stressful than usual, which wasn’t helped with the price of XEC being down near all time lows.

It’s probably why I haven’t created any content lately. A combination of a lack of time and lack of motivation. This isn’t to say I’ve given up on eCash, or this blog, but I guess I needed a break. We all need a break sometimes.

The past few days I’ve even asked myself if I’m wasting my life, if I’m letting the years slip away without savoring them to the fullest. One funny thing I noticed was I didn’t want to listen to any more podcasts. Do I really want to spend hours of my life listening to people argue?

But I’m happy to report that I’m feeling better today, and guess what snapped me out of it?

So this morning I checked Agora.cash as I do every morning to see if anyone had bought or sold my POW tokens. And to my surprise, someone had spent about 3M XEC to buy 1000 of them, or 0.1% of the total supply. I know 3M XEC is only about $60, but it meant something to me. As I’ve always said, I see these as tokens of my appreciation, and I guess I was telling the truth, because I felt appreciated.

It’s why I’m writing again. I don’t know who bought my POW, but thank you for reminding me of why I fell in love with crypto to begin with.

It’s one thing to “like” a post, or to write an encouraging comment, but crypto allows you to digitally send people actual value. Not just words, money.

Only because of eCash could I tokenize this blog, raise XEC to run a lotto, and reward winners while maintaining all of our privacy.

I know the markets don’t look good right now, but I still believe in this technology, because it’s fucking amazing. No other currency lets me, someone who has no technical ability, charge you a fraction of a penny to read my content, all without anyone having to know who I am, or me having to ask your name, or email address, or credit card number. All we need is eCash.
