For the first time, anyone will now be able to publish articles on ProofOfWriting.com and earn XEC for their content.

Take advantage of the PayButton plugin to paywall your content and set your own price. Readers can access any articles they’ve paid for across devices by logging in using their Cashtab wallet.

For now, I will be personally reviewing and approving new posts to keep the site clean from potentially offensive material. Some ideas for potential posts: XEC technical analysis, XEC tutorials, personal essays, original artwork, or anything else that interests you so long as it’s not deemed offensive.

The hope is that new contributors will help promote and grow the site to showcase what’s possible with eCash and PayButton.

Behind the paywall you will find instructions on how to register and add a new post.

To create an author account, click on “Author Login” in the menu. You will be taken to this screen where you can click “Register”:

Once you’ve finished the registration process, login and you can start creating your own posts by clicking on “Add Post”:

Finally, create your post. You can include media such as images, or audio files for podcasts, and embed videos with YouTube links. You can also set a featured image on the right side panel to be displayed when sharing on social media. Finally, if you want to paywall anything, insert a bit of short code using this option:

Here’s the code you would enter into the short code box:

Obviously you can set your own price and include your own eCash address. You can also customize the button and change the text to your liking. Then at the end of your post insert another piece of short code to close the loop:
